Summer Sound Studios in Virginia Beach is Hampton Roads newest and most affordable small form Music Production studio. We operate on the premise that everyone should be able to afford getting heard. We also feel that other small form studios are charging these artists too much for too little. Here at Summer Sound, we are dedicated to working with artists and bands to create a professional sound that doesn't require you to skip a rent payment to hear it.
We specialize in taking new artist and writers and making the project they hear in their heads a reality. You can also come in with your full band and we can accommodate all players simultaneously with 24 track multi-tracking capabilities. And while you're here you may as well document the experience with multi-camera broadcast and recording. Additionally, we offer recording of full band live performances for showcase and advertising. All broadcasts are imbedded with true studio quality sound through direct DAW connection.
Additionally, all songs and lyrics heard on the website are available for licensing, sale and publication.

J. A. NORTON
Joseph (Adam) Norton is a Songwriter and Multi-instrumentalist and a graduate of FullSail Universities Music Production program.
Born in the south and raises in the north he likes to mix many styles into his songwriting. With over 30 years as an instrumentalist and writer. He cut his teeth playing bars in the Milwaukee and Chicago area with the American Hard Rock band 2 West and during that time found himself in many studios recording with his band and learning from some of the Midwest's best independent producers and engineers.
He has a passion for helping other songwriters see their visions in full color and sound and typically lends his playing abilities to those artists to help them have a full and polished sound.
He is an Accomplished Guitarist, Bassist, Drummer, and various other instruments. He loves to lend those talents to other artist.
He is a US Navy Veteran who is dedicated to helping artist get heard.
